April is Financial Literacy Month

Financial Literacy Month is a time to learn about or increase your knowledge of financial literacy. This is a time to get started or maintain good money management habits and take control of your personal finances. We want to help our members, community, and youth be informed to make decisions about budgeting, saving, investing, and creating financial goals.

How can you increase your financial literacy?

• Take advantage of our financial literacy resources.

  Whether you are just getting started or need to dive deeper on a certain topic, our financial literacy resources has valuable resources to listen, watch, or read about a variety of topics.

• Consult with a member of our team.

  Sometimes talking to someone about your specific situation is what is needed to reach your personal financial goal. We have dedicated team members that are happy to speak with you and offer solutions to your questions. 

• Get informed about the latest financial fraud schemes and other scams to protect yourself or your loved ones.
  Fraud may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about financial literacy, but with a plethora of different techniques fraudsters are using to access your personal information, it is an important step to keeping your finances safe. View our Fraud Series to stay informed.

Want to schedule a financial literacy class?

Our team is ready to bring financial literacy to area 501 (c)(3) organizations. You can request volunteers and we will provide a topic tailored to the age group and needs of the organization we are serving.
