Tyndall members will now be receiving newly redesigned contactless cards by request or reissue.
What is a contactless card?
Contactless cards provide you with the ability to simply tap your card at the point of sale making your transaction quick and easy. The new cards offer convenience, security, and wide acceptance as a payment method, which we are happy to provide now.
How to use a contactless card?
Look for the contactless symbol on the point-of-sale device. If the device accepts contactless payments, bring your card or mobile wallet close to the symbol and your payment will be processed quickly without needing to hand over your card. Thousands of merchants are now using contactless payment systems.
Are contactless cards secure?
Contactless cards have enhanced security features making it more difficult for unauthorized users to obtain your information. Each transaction uses encryption to protect the data transmitted. For additional safety measures, members can add their new contactless card to the Tyndall Cards App for updates and alerts as well as the ability to turn off your card if it is lost or stolen.
If you have not already received your new contactless card, you can request yours now through Online Banking, Contact Us to request one, use our DocuSign Form, or one will be sent to you when your current card is set to expire.
