As residents of Florida prepare for the most active months of Hurricane Season, the Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday has begun.
Consumers are able to purchase qualifying disaster preparedness supplies that are tax exempt from Saturday, August 26th - Friday, September 8. This sales tax holiday was passed by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis.
